Each round in this box of 50 fires a medium weight 55 grain Barnes TSX bullet at a muzzle velocity of 3,200 feet per second. This configuration produces trajectories comparable to those of M193 ball ammunition, a popular range load.
Barnes TSX bullets deliver excellent performance for hunting thanks to their hollow point tip, which expands into four sharp petals to bring an animal down quickly. The bullet’s grooves absorb expanding material and help prevent copper fouling of your rifle’s barrel as well as relieving chamber pressures.
